Ancient Coins: Pendants

360 BC Ancient Greek Bronze Grazing Horse Coin Charm or Pendant. Over 2360 years old!
15mm. approx. 1/2 inch. The Greek letters are barely visible above the back of the grazing horse coin with a beautiful forest green patina from about 2,350 years ago. The head of Nymph Larissa is on the back.

15mm - Greece, Thessaly Larissa c. 360-325 B.C. Larissa was the Goddess personification of the city of Thessaly. Coins were struck to finance Timoleons 344 B.C. expedition to capture Syracuse. The coin has a horse with itÕs head lowered and grazing facing right on one side of the coin and on the other side the head of Nymph Larissa facing right. The coin will be set in a plain 14k yellow gold custom bezel. Each coin is custom set upon receipt of your order. Expect the coin to ship 1 to 2 weeks from time of order.
